Sustainable Salmon Burger Recipe

Pier Market Salmon Burger Recipe (see below)

Salmon

2 LB            Salmon meat chopped

1/4 lb.          Yellow onions small chop

1/4 bunch    Green onions small chop

1/4 bunch    Cilantro chopped

1 EA             Eggs

3/4 cup        Flour

1 tsp.           Seasoning salt

 

Directions: Chop the salmon meat, onions, green onions and cilantro. Put in a mixing bowl and mix all the ingredients together in a folding motion with your hands. Mix until ingredients bind together. Brush a piece of parchment paper with olive oil. Take a ball, or scoop, of the mixture and place on the parchment paper. Fold the parchment paper over the ball of mixture. Form the patty by lightly pressing down on the ball to create a flatter, rounded patty. Then use the outer edge of your hand to tighten up the edges. Place the patty (without the parchment paper) on the grill. 2 to 3 minutes on each side (depending on how hot your grill is). Watch the patty for burns and grill until browned. Cook the salmon burger to medium and serve on a bun!
